Short-time critical dynamics of the three-dimensional systems with long-range correlated disorder

Monte Carlo simulations of the short-time dynamic behavior are reported for three-dimensional Ising and XY models with long-range correlated disorder at criticality, in the case corresponding to linear defects. The static and dynamic critical exponents are determined for systems starting separately from ordered and disordered initial states. The obtained values of the exponents are in a good agreement with results of the field-theoretic description of the critical behavior of these models in the two-loop approximation and with our results of Monte Carlo simulations of three-dimensional Ising model in equilibrium state.Comment: 24 RevTeX pages, 12 figure

Development of the Agrarian Sector of the Ukrainian Economy: Forecasts and Prospects

In the article the modern problems of development of agrarian sector of economy of Ukraine in the conditions of institutional changes are revealed. The development of the agrarian sphere of the country in the context of institutional changes is analyzed. Prospects for the development of the agricultural sector of the national economy have been determined, taking into account the existing risks and possible options for public policy. The correlation analysis of farms and non-farms for the period from 2012 to 2018 is conducted. Thus, the dependence of Y on X was studied. In the specification step, a pairwise linear regression was chosen. It estimated its least squares parameters. The statistical significance of the equation is verified using the Fisher coefficient and determination. Only 10.35% of the total variability of Y is found to be explained by the change in X. The statistical significance of the model is due to the small sample size and the influence of other factors on the effective factor U. It is proved that to ensure a rational level of compliance of agricultural producers with agro-technological requirements it is necessary to take a set of measures, in particular: to introduce a favorable regime of import of imported mineral fertilizers and means; introduce economic incentives for land owners, land users and land tenants to increase soil fertility and improve their economic condition.У статті виявлено сучасні проблеми розвитку аграрного сектору економіки України в умовах інституційних змін. Проаналізовано розвиток аграрної сфери країни в контексті інституційних перетворень. Визначено перспективи розвитку аграрного сектору національної економіки з урахуванням наявних ризиків і можливих варіантів державної політики. Проведено кореляційний аналіз фермерських і нефермерських господарств за період з 2012 по 2018 рік. Таким чином, вивчена залежність Y від X. На етапі специфікації була обрана парна лінійна регресія. Оцінено її параметри методом найменших квадратів. Статистична значимість рівняння перевірена за допомогою коефіцієнта детермінації й критерію Фішера. Встановлено, що в досліджуваній ситуації тільки 10.35% загальної варіабельності Y пояснюється зміною X. Статистична значимість моделі обумовлена невеликим обсягом вибірки й впливом інших факторів на результативний фактор U. Доведено, що для забезпечення раціонального рівня дотримання сільгосптоваровиробниками агротехнологічних вимог необхідно вжити комплекс заходів, зокрема: запровадити сприятливий режим ввезення імпортованих мінеральних добрив і засобів захисту рослин; запровадити економічне стимулювання власників землі, землекористувачів та орендарів земельних ділянок за підвищення родючості ґрунтів і поліпшення їх економічного стану.В статье выявлены современные проблемы развития аграрного сектора экономики Украины в условиях институционных изменений. Anti-nuclei and nuclei production in Pb+Pb collisions at CERN SPS energies

We present new results on production of 3He and t obtained by the NA49 experiment in 20A, 30A, 40A and 80A GeV central Pb+Pb collisions at the CERN SPS. Transverse mass spectra and rapidity distributions for clusters measured over a large phase space domain are discussed. We observe a weak dependence of the mid-rapidity t/3He ratio on collision energy at SPS. The energy dependence of the total yield for 3He is remarkably reproduced by a statistical hadron gas model. A gradual decrease of the coalescence parameter B3 for 3He with $\sqrt {s_{NN}}$ is observed.In addition, a measurement of the yield of anti-deuterons in Pb+Pb reactions at SPS's top energy of $\sqrt {s_{NN}}$ = 17.2 GeV is presented.Comment: 4 pages, 8 figures. Signature of Fermi arc surface states in Andreev reflection at the WTe2_2 Weyl semimetal surface

We experimentally investigate charge transport through the interface between a niobium superconductor and a three-dimensional WTe$_2$ Weyl semimetal. In addition to classical Andreev reflection, we observe sharp non-periodic subgap resistance resonances. From an analysis of their positions, magnetic field and temperature dependencies, we can interpret them as an analog of Tomasch oscillations for transport along the topological surface state across the region of proximity-induced superconductivity at the Nb-WTe$_2$ interface. Observation of distinct geometrical resonances implies a specific transmission direction for carriers, which is a hallmark of the Fermi arc surface states.Comment: 5 pages, some misprints has been correcte

Planar Heterostructure Graphene -- Narrow-Gap Semiconductor -- Graphene

We investigate a planar heterostructure composed of two graphene films separated by a narrow-gap semiconductor ribbon. We show that there is no the Klein paradox when the Dirac points of the Brillouin zone of graphene are in a band gap of a narrow-gap semiconductor. There is the energy range depending on an angle of incidence, in which the above-barrier damped solution exists. Therefore, this heterostructure is a "filter" transmitting particles in a certain range of angles of incidence upon a potential barrier. We discuss the possibility of an application of this heterostructure as a "switch".Comment: 9 pages, 2 figure
